New Delhi, November 11, 2025: Wani Igga Foundation has announced a major step toward inclusive rural transformation with the launch of a Multi-Agriculture Development Initiative aimed at improving the livelihood of farmers, empowering indigenous communities, and supporting the Government of India’s Green Industrialization Plan.
This initiative reflects the Foundation’s continued commitment to sustainable development and environmental stewardship. Through collective partnerships with academic institutions, research organizations, and grassroots networks, the program seeks to drive innovation across sectors of organic cultivation, eco-friendly agribusiness, and climate-resilient farming systems.
Under the multi-agriculture framework, Wani Igga Foundation will focus on:
- Promoting integrated and sustainable agriculture models rooted in local knowledge systems.
- Enhancing access to green technologies that boost productivity while preserving ecosystems.
- Supporting women and youth-led agri-entrepreneurship ventures in rural and tribal regions.
- Strengthening climate adaptation strategies to align with national and global sustainability goals.
Speaking about the initiative, the Foundation’s leadership highlighted that these collective efforts will not only improve food security and rural incomes but also contribute to the national mission for “Green Growth” envisioned under India’s Vision 2047 and the UN SDGs 2030 framework.
The Foundation invites collaborative engagement from academic institutions, government agencies, and private partners to scale up the program’s impact and accelerate the transition toward a just and sustainable agricultural economy.
